The DEXA scan is a great tool for measuring results and success as you strive to be at your best. It can provide more than just data, it can provide motivation and excitement. It shows us bone density data, which is particularly important for women, as well as body composition.

Seeing changes in the mirror or fitting into an old pair of pants is a great way to notice results from all your hard work. Knowing you lost 3 pounds of fat while adding 2 pounds of muscle is data proving you are heading in the right direction. Seeing positive results like that can provide you the excitement to continue. Experiencing results that may not be as positive can provide the motivation necessary to implement more change.

You should be getting a DEXA every 3-4 months to monitor your progress and ensure you are on the right path to reach your goals. If you feel like you are past due, don’t hesitate to reach out to us to get on the schedule.
